The Holistic Homestead is a nonprofit serving the Peak to Peak region with a mission to improve health and wellness through education, outreach and advocacy. CULTIVATE
VetsGo provides medical transportation to veterans and their family members throughout Boulder and Broomfield Counties. Volunteers use their own vehicles to provide transportation going as far as the Aurora, Golden and Cheyenne VA facilities
Carry-Out-Caravan: Volunteers take orders, shop for, and deliver groceries to seniors who have transportation or mobility issues.
Fix-It: Volunteers perform minor-safety related - home repairs including grab bar installation and walker repairs.
Yardbusters: Volunteers perform a basic yard clean up either in the Spring, Summer, or Fall to help seniors comply with regulations and reduce falls.
SnowBusters: Volunteers shovel snow to help seniors comply with regulations and to reduce their risk of falling
RSVP: Cultivate recruits and places volunteers in organizations throughout Boulder County.

Access-a-Ride - Access-a-Ride is the federally required ADA paratransit service provided to those with certified disabilities who are traveling within ¾ mile of a fixed RTD route. VIA MOBILITY SERVICES
Via is a full-spectrum mobility manager offering paratransit, travel training, and mobility options information and referral services in Boulder County and beyond. Via also provides a wide range of community and group educational resources related to transportation for older adults, people with disabilities and others living with mobility limitations.
To accommodate the needs of the mountain community, Via offers mileage reimbursement to family members, friends or neighbors who provide a qualifying trip when Via cannot. To use this service, you must be registered with Via. To register, please contact Via’s Mobility Specialists at 303-444-3043.

GILPIN COUNTY SEASONAL HOME HEATING BILLS ASSISTANCE
LEAP can provide information on weatherization and prevention of utility shut-offs, for low-income Gilpin residents. To apply ue the Colorado.gov/Peak website or come into the Gilpin County Human Services office or call 303-582-5444. Human Services can assist you in filling out the application, make copie and email your application to LEAP. The program runs from November 1 through April 30.

The Source is open to all people ages 12 to 24. The Source is the only shelter in Boulder County dedicated specifically to helping young people between the ages of 12-24. They provide access to food, clothing, showers, or laundry. They also help with medical care, legal services, counseling, finding long-term housing, and more.

Drop-In Services are open every day from 12:30pm to 5pm, for anyone ages 24 and under. Drop-in services include access to food, clothing, showers, laundry, and hygiene items. They also provide access to medical care, education, legal services, Internet, and more.
The Overnight Emergency Shelter is open every night from 5pm to 8am, for anyone ages 20 and under. They can host up to 14 guests per night in a comfortable, safe house. Staff can also work with you to arrange long-term housing and additional support.

GILPIN COUNTY CSU EXTENSION
CSU Extension's EAGLE is a free 4-H program at the Gilpin County Community Center that provides afterschool, Friday, and summer extracurricular opportunities for local youth. All activities and field trips are planned with a paid youth program assistant and/or a paid youth leadership team. Participants must fill out a registration packet before attending, available on the website.

ENERGY RESOURCE CENTER
Energy Resource Center is a non-profit construction company assisting income-qualified families through energy efficiency improvements. Work completed includes insulation, HVAC, hot water heaters, lighting, appliances, air sealing and more. These efforts save money on energy bills, reduce demand on natural resources by cutting energy waste, assist with the affordable housing crisis, and create a safe environment in which Colorado residents can thrive.
