Human Services Fair

A mini Human Services Fair is held on the 4th Thursday of the month.

​

Agencies and organizations who provide services and assistance to the Peak to Peak region are on hand to answer questions and help with applications and eligibility.

​

The next Human Services Fair will be January 23, at the Nederland Community Center, 10am - noon​
 

Benefits in Action  Assistance includes accessing and filling out the state and county benefits applications for SNAP and Medicaid.

​

Boulder County Area Agency on Aging   Offering information on local resources, advocacy, assistance for caregivers, elder rights, LGBTQ+ outreach, long-term care ombudsman, medicare counseling, healthy aging, respite care and veterans services.

​

Boulder Community Health PILLAR     Free assistance to Boulder County Residents with health care relating to chronic pain, and/or opiod and other substance use disorders.

​

Boulder County Area Agency on Aging    Local resources, advocacy, assistance for caregivers, elder rights, LGBTQ+ outreach, long-term care ombudsman, medicare counseling, healthy aging, respite care and veterans services.

​

Boulder County Aids Project   BCAP can provide free, safer sex supplies (condoms and lube) and health education. Additionally, BCAP can provide free, confidential testing for HIV, Hepatitis C, and STIs.

​

Boulder County Eligibility  Helping residents sign up for SNAP, Medicaid and other needs-based Boulder County assistance.

​

Boulder County Housing Advisors  Housing Advisors at the Boulder County Housing Helpline help residents by connecting them with rental assistance, landlord support, free mediation and legal services, financial coaching, and more. The goal is to raise awareness about available assistance and provide a central source of housing information for Boulder County residents.

​

Boulder County Personal Finance Program The Personal Finance Program helps people achieve financial well-being. PFP can talk about organizing money, reducing debt, improving credit, affordable student loan repayment plans, buying homes, keeping homes, and reverse mortgages.

​

Boulder County Works  Offering resource navigation/ referrals, Medicaid and SNAP assistance, Narcan/ Narcan training, fentanyl and xylazine test strips/ training, safe use supplies.

​

Canyon Cares  Serving area residents by providing short-term financial assistance to help care for the necessities and urgent needs of our neighbors.

​

Emergency Family Assistance Association (EFAA)  Offering financial assistance for critical necessities including deposits or rental/mortgage payments for housing, energy-based utility bill assistance, upcoming minor medical, dental or vision expenses, upcoming minor car repairs, ID cards or birth certificates, and hotel vouchers for short-term stays for families experiencing homelessness.

Mental Health Partners Promote Mental health services in the peak-to-peak region, mainly assisting clients who receive Medicaid. They offer information on peer support, counseling, personal case management, etc.

​

Mobility for All   Promotes accessible, affordable, and equitable multimodal (transit, bike, etc.) transportation options for residents of all ages and abilities and to raise awareness that transportation is a basic social, economic, and health need.

​

Tru Pace  Elibigle participants may receive primary medical care, medication management, physical therapy, specialty service, in-home care and social work.

​

Veterans Community Project  VCP serves anyone who served in the military, regardless of discharge status or length of service. If you need support and don’t know where to start, we’re here to help!

Wellmind Connection  We are a team of experts on local resources and providers of behavioral health services. We are here to help to connect you to the care you need. We are dedicated to working with community members in the way that best fits their language, culture, or other needs and preferences.
