Mountain Rides

A New
Ride Service Through Via Mobility Services

Mountain Rides, operated by Via Mobility Services, provides wheelchair-accessible rides along the Peak to Peak and to destinations below. This is a shared-ride service with fixed events and open times to accommodate appointments.


Where Are Mountain Rides Available?

Mountain Rides will operate along the Peak to Peak Highway from Ward to Gilpin County Public Library. Pick-up/Drop-off locations will be in Nederland, Eldora, Rollinsville, Wondervu, and Mid-Gilpin, to provide the best service for our community members. Home pick-up can be scheduled as available, please do not hesitate to request if needed.

Mountain Rides will provide transportation for almost any purpose, including medical and therapy trips, employment, education, shopping, personal appointments, and more. 

Times of Service

Mountain Rides will be available:

Monday - Thursday from 10 am to 4 pm.

Service will be limited in the beginning to work out any issues.

How Much Does It Cost?

The service is FREE! The funding comes from grants, as well as local contributions. A $5 contribution per ride is suggested to support Via Mobility Services. 

How Do I Become A Rider?

Anyone interested can call our Mobility Specialists at 303-444-3043 or online:

Once registered, a trip can be scheduled through Via's Call Center from 8:00 am to 4:30 pm, Monday through Friday. A ride may be scheduled from one to seven days before the ride is needed.
